This morning, I was devastated to learn that two brave federal court officers have been harmed in the line of duty at the Las Vegas Federal Courthouse. One individual has lost a life and the other has been seriously injured. As we return to work at the start of a New Year, I ask you to take a moment and pray for these officers and their families.
The men and women who protect the people who work and do business in the courthouse risk their lives every day and we are grateful. I was once honored to work in the Las Vegas Federal Courthouse and today especially, the men and women there are in my thoughts and prayers.
